Festivals and Parties

Epcot is the primary Disney World park for festivals, while Magic Kingdom hosts most of the parties. Both of these extra items are awesome for adults. First off, what is a festival versus a party? Festivals are themed events that typically take place over several months during normal park hours. The festivals happen throughout the park and basic access to the festival is covered by your theme park tickets (while you have access to a lot of bonus stuff during Disney festivals, there are usually additional events associated with the festival that you can do for an additional cost). Festivals are only held during certain times of the year, and two of the most popular festivals are Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival and Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival. Parties, on the other hand, cost extra money to attend. In general, we feel there are two types of parties: dessert parties and holiday parties. The most popular holiday parties are Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
