Best Quick Service at Disney World

Disney World has a variety of quick service restaurant options. While some quick service options have your traditional theme park food options, Disney also offers some unique dining options with quick service. In this post, we cover our 5 favorite quick service locations at Walt Disney World.   satli menu

What is Quick Service?

Quick service at Disney World is exactly what it sounds like. It is going to be your primary option if you want a quick meal at Disney World. These options are great if you are trying to fit a lot into a day. Quick service food is usually a much more affordable option to a table service (sit down) meal at Disney World. The quick service locations are typically either cafeteria-style or counter-service venues. You do not need a reservation. When you arrive at the quick service location, you order or take the food items that you want, pay, and then eat. Quick service locations may also have mobile ordering, which is a great way to save time. satuli line

Our Favorite Quick Service Locations

Jeff and I each have our favorite 5 quick service locations in Disney World. However, when we each made a list of our top 5, we only had one in common. The one in common is our number 1 choice on this list. If you want to see each of our full lists, check out our YouTube rankings in the video below. In this post, we combine our lists for our overall 5 favorites. They are ranked in order.

1) Satu’li Canteen in Animal Kingdom

Picking our number 1 quick service location is easy. Satu’li Canteen is in Pandora at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park and it is amazing. There is a lot of indoor and outdoor seating, they have alcoholic beverage options, and most importantly, the food is delicious, healthy, and unique. The food is in a make your own bowl style. What this means is you pick your base, protein, and sauce. We typically will get the noodles with either chicken or tofu and we often change up our sauce choices. The food here is so delicious! Satu’li also has alcoholic drink options which are themed to Pandora. We highly recommend having Satu’li Canteen on your must-try Disney restaurant list! Satuli with beer

2) The Polite Pig in Disney Springs

This quick service location serves barbeque and has a wide variety of food. However, the standout and why we love going is for the side dishes. Honestly, we recommend just making a meal out of the various side dishes that they have. The sides include everything from mac and cheese to bbq cauliflower. In addition to side dishes, there are healthier wrap options to your traditional barbeque. There is also a full bar and great drink options. This is our go-to quick service location whenever we are in Disney Springs. drinks pig

3) Woody’s Lunch Box in Hollywood Studios

This quick service option is in Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios. The big downside of this location is that the seating is outside, and it can get hot. If you are okay with the heat or if you are visiting in a cooler time of year, this location has some great options. The pop tarts are delicious and they will often have a seasonal flavor that changes. Another crowd favorite item from the menu is the tator tots (tachos). As for drinks, we typically will get is the grown-up’s lemonade, which is an alcoholic cherry lemonade. With it being a quick service location, we often will grab a drink and pop tart and walk around the park eating them. food at woodys woodys lemonade

4) Tangierine Cafe in Epcot

This quick service location is in the Morocco pavilion in Epcot. This is a great option if you are looking for delicious food that is on the healthier side. We often will get the chicken and pita. They also have lamb and falafel. Another benefit of this location is that there is indoor and outdoor seating, so you have options based on the weather and your preferences. Tangerine cafe food

5) Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in Epcot

If you like desserts, this place is for you. It is hidden in the back of the France pavilion in Epcot. Even though it is in the back, it is still very popular and well worth the wait if there is a line. The patisserie has a ton of amazing dessert options for guests to choose from. There are also non-dessert options, such as baguettes, pizza, and croque monsieur. The patisserie is also typically open before the rest of the world showcase, so if you are okay with desserts for breakfast (it is vacation after all) you can stop in early in the day and avoid some of the crowds. This is one place we stop by almost every trip. patisserie mobile
